Limitless

Months before we moved to Florida, the Lord showed me a vision.

I saw the ocean horizon line, and across it in bold, golden block letters was written one word:

LIMITLESS.

At the time, it brought me comfort in moments when my mind couldn’t understand how a transition this big would possibly work.

But last night in my prayer closet, I felt like the Lord took it one step deeper.

He asked:

“How different would your prayers look if you prayed without limits?”

Wait.

Was I praying with limits?

I started examining my prayers and realized… sure enough, I was.

I was praying within the boundaries of what I had seen before.

Within what felt reasonable.

Within outcomes I could imagine.

I tried rewording my prayers… but realized I couldn’t do it in my own strength. My mind seemed hardwired to pray according to human logic instead of heavenly possibility.

And I realized something:

I need Heaven’s vantage point over my situation.

I need the hand of God to shape my vision so I pray according to His purpose and plan—not my own reasoning.

So now I’m wondering…

What do your prayers look like?

Are you praying with limits?

Are you asking God to solve problems only the way you think makes sense?

Are your prayers staying inside the boundaries of what feels possible?

If you’re anything like me… the answer might be yes.

So let’s challenge each other.

For the next 7 days—let’s pray without limits and see what God does.

I think we might be surprised.

Don’t you?

You In?
